The Soil and Water Stewardship Scholarship seeks to provide financial support to students enrolled fulltime at an accredited two or four-year community college, college, or university, which will lead to a career in a natural resource field.
Scholarship will be awarded in amounts up to $1,000. Scholarship money may be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment required for courses. Scholarship money may not be used for room and board.

The DeKalb County Soil and Water Conservation District will be awarding one DeKalb County high school graduating senior with a $1000 scholarship. The scholarship is intended to help a student that is interested in pursuing a career in agriculture, the environment, or land use.
Criteria for the scholarship includes: resident of DeKalb County, high school graduating senior, and enrolled as a full-time freshman at a college/university.
The Simonson Scholarship is offered by the DeKalb County SWCD to recognize the Simonson family’s commitment in support of agriculture and the environment, and in the promotion of sound land use practices.
